Dear VisAD-list Users,
I received the following e-mail. I believe it to be SPAM. It looks like it is
originally from a Taiwan mail server, routed through the VisAD mailing list
using the following command embedded within the message:
ssec.wisc.edu: majordom set sender to owner-visad-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
using -f
This indicates an open relay in the majordomo (mailing list manager) script on
the ssec.wisc.edu server.
I have e-mailed bk22bk89@xxxxxxxxx a warning and reported this to SPAM COP.
I am trying to contact the moderator or administrator of the mailing system at
ssec.wisc.edu so that they can close the relay. So, if you are the moderator or
administrator please take appropriate action.
Please help STOP SPAM.
