Thanks Curtis,

According to your suggestion I tried to set the displays
visible/invisible instead of changing their size. That works good in one
of my applications. I haven't yet tested it with the app I recognized
that problem first so I can't say if it works there, too. But if not I'm
sure you will hear from me once again ;-)
