Probably not the most comprehensive benchmarks, but
nevertheless encouraging about Java performance. But
the total performance numbers are nuts, as they weight
trig functions equally with ordinary math. In reality
the average numerical program spends very little time
calling trig functions. The other thing these benchmarks
miss is garbage collection. Nevertheless interesting.
