Hi Jeff,

Sounds like an interesting project, we have experimented with KML files and
Google earth as well, and would enjoy
looking at your approach.

Where are you located?

Unidata does not provide feeds to individuals, we work with educational and
research institutions.

If you are located near a site of ours, we can point you in that direction, and
perhaps that site would be willing to give you a data feed.

Are you aware that we deliver data via the LDM:

http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/ldm/

The LDM requires a Unix/Linux type OS and you will need sufficient bandwidth to
ingest the data as well.

Cheers,

Jeff Weber
