AWIPS Tips: Create a Colored Surface Temperature Plot

Welcome back to AWIPS Tips! This latest entry in the blog series has to do with another Jupyter Notebook for python-awips. We have previously released blogs about python-awips, specifically to do with accessing data, displaying and saving GOES imagery, and working with map resources. Minor Release - AWIPS EDEX 18.2.1-4 on Linux

11 January 2022

A new minor release (version 18.2.1-4) of AWIPS EDEX has been made for Linux servers. No changes have been made to CAVE since the 18.2.1-3 release, however the version for Linux has been updated to 18.2.1-4.

AWIPS 18.2.1-3 Software Release

29 December 2021

AWIPS 18.2.1-3 is a new release to both EDEX and CAVE (on Windows, MacOS, and Centos7/RHEL7). This release of EDEX has several new features and bug fixes including:

New GOES products
New version of LDM
GLM updates
Station ID updates

This release also has several CAVE updates including:

Updates to the WarnGen Dialog
More Watches, Warnings, and Advisories
