After receiving a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Florida A&M University, she worked with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection before earning a Master's degree in Computational Science from Florida State University (FSU). Jhamieka is now pursuing a PhD in Computational Science at FSU.
