The Unidata Users Committee invites you to join Unidata staff, community members, and distinguished speakers for the 2012 Unidata Users workshop. The goal of this year's workshop is to raise awareness of data science in the geoscience academic community and share hands-on activities, course materials, and ideas for improving research and education.
The workshop, titled Navigating Earth System Science Data, is scheduled for July 9-13, 2012 in Boulder, Colorado.
Dr. Cliff Jacobs of the National Science Foundation will deliver the workshop's keynote presentation. Additional details on speakers and session topics for the workshop will be available on the 2012 Users Workshop page in the near future.
Note: The 2012 Users Workshop is currently in the planning stages, and is contingent on approval of the workshop proposal submitted to the National Science Foundation. A limited number of graduate student stipends will be available to defray expenses.
