Hello All,
I am happy to announce a new version of python-awips (v23.1) is available! This version is available via source code (with all example notebooks) or via mamba (conda) and pip. Please see our main documentation page for installation instructions. This version is compatible with with our public EDEX server and includes:
- Compatibility with latest Python version 3.13
- Latest package updates (ex. Shapely 2.0+ and numpy 2.0+)
- Solved old deprecation errors
- Removes
import pwdso notebooks will run on Windows without issues
