The fifth NOAA AI Workshop on Leveraging Artificial Intelligence in Environmental Sciences will be held September 19–21, 2023 as a virtual gathering coordinated by the NOAA Center for Artificial Intelligence.
From the workshop announcement:
The fifth NOAA AI Workshop will leverage the successful partnership of previous workshops, and will facilitate community discussions around two themes that will help identify the common challenges and needs to accelerate the adoption of AI to support NOAA missions:
- Building benchmarking frameworks for AI research and development
- Facilitating the research-to-applications transition for AI in environmental sciences.
The workshop will provide a platform for in-depth discussions, knowledge sharing, and interactive demonstrations of AI tools and applications on diverse topics that closely align with NOAA missions. Please consider sharing your AI use cases and participating to learn about other state-of-the-art AI development in the community.
The workshop organizers encourage broad participation by scientists, program managers, leaders, and AI
enthusiasts from the public, academia, and private industry who work in AI and
environmental sciences. For additional information or to Register, visit
