Unidata Policy Committee Approves Strategic Plan

On January 10, 2012 the Unidata Policy Committee unanimously approved a resolution adopting Unidata's latest strategic plan.

Members of the Unidata Program Center staff attended the 92nd annual American Meteorology Society meeting, January 22-26 2012, in New Orleans.

AMS Meeting Update: AWIPS II Demos in Unidata Booth

AWIPS II

Those interested in the AWIPS II project and attending the American Meteorological Society meeting in New Orleans were invited to stop by Unidata's booth in the exhibit hall. Unidata developer Michael James provided demonstrations throughout the day, and we also hosted additional demonstrations by project leaders from the National Centers for Environmental Prediction.

Unidata staff are making their way back to Boulder from this year's American Meteorological Society meeting in New Orleans. It was a productive meeting for all involved, and we were happy to have so many community members stop by our booth in the exhibition hall and at the student Career Fair.

DeSouza Award Nominations

The Unidata Users Committee invites you to submit nominations for the Russell L. DeSouza Award for Outstanding Community Service. This Community Service Award honors individuals whose energy, expertise, and active involvement enable the Unidata Program to better serve the geosciences.
