Welcome back to AWIPS Tips! Today we’re going to talk about a nuanced topic regarding data in CAVE. Normally, when we talk about data, we tend to categorize it by the data type – ie. model (grib), satellite, observation, etc. Today we’re going to look at data from a different perspective and try to elaborate on the difference between graphic and image products. Welcome back to AWIPS Tips! This week we are going to learn how to use drawing properties for customizing Watches, Warnings, and Advisories (WWAs) in CAVE. The drawing properties allow you to customize the visibility of text, time, outline, and thatched fill individually between types of records and resources.
