The Continuously Operating Caribbean Observational Network (COCONet) project, funded by the National Science Foundation, seeks applicants for two graduate research fellowships starting in August or September of 2014. The COCONet Graduate Fellowships provide individual awards between $5,000 and $10,000 per year for a maximum of 2 years to support solid Earth or atmospheric science graduate research projects conducted at a U.S. institution of higher education. Dataflow Analyst Position at NCEP Central Operations

The National Weather Service/National Centers for Environmental Prediction is looking to hire a Data Flow Analyst to work in the production Management Branch (PMB) of NCEP Central Operations (NCO). The Dataflow Team is responsible for managing the incoming data to the NCEP's model suite, supporting several of the NCEP forecast centers, and then “getting all the data back out to the world.” It's a fast-paced operational environment where team members get to serve the public every day.
