Hi Don, I tried nightly bulid and works ok with Europe projection. But the world map still has problems. This will be good for those who want to subset the gridded datasets. Now that I'm back from holiday, I've had a chance to work on the IDV side of this issue of the gap when the last grid point does not overlap the first. I just put out a new nightly build (2.5a1) that extends the grid if need be so there is no longer a gap at the edge. If anyone wants to test that for me, I'd welcome feedback. You can download the latest nightly build from: http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/downloads/idv I've tested with the Global 2.5, 1.0 and .5 degree grids on our UCAR server.
