As part of our netcdf-HDF5 project, the next (2.2) release of the
java-netcdf library will have some ability to read HDF5 files though the
library, which is pure java. Its not yet clear how complete this
capability will be. I am looking for HDF5 files of datasets important to
our community for testing.
