I have a problem to install netCDF4.0.1 on my linux 64bit machine, with PGI-10.6
I followed the instruction on this page for netCDF4.0.1 and PGI2010 exactly
http://www.pgroup.com/resources/netcdf/netcdf40_pgi2010.htm
I used
export FC=$PGIHOME/linux86-64/10.6/bin/pgf90 and so on to set the env.
But I still had this error when executed "./configure
--prefix=/home/netcdf-4.0.1"
=============
checking if Fortran "byte" is C "signed char"... configure: error: Could not
compile conftest.c
=============
Any change that I need to do to make it work? Thank you very much.
