We are still trying to get this documented etc. It replaces the previous
NetcdfService, and can now be used on any gridded datasets, and we are
experimenting with station observation data.
You have to enable it in threddsConfig.xml, and add it as a service to your
catalog, just like WCS. Its really intended for programmatic usage, but we are
generating an HTML interface also. The file writing is rather slow, i want to
improve that before it gets too much use.

is if this is automatically implemented when we implement THREDDS or if
we have to add this as an additional service when we set up our TDS just
