Version 6.10.0 of the LDM package was released on 2011-10-18. This version is recommended for all users and can be downloaded at https://www.unidata.ucar.edu/downloads/ldm/.
The major change in this version is the incorporation of the previously-separate NOAAPORT and GRIBINSERT packages. The NOAAPORT package creates LDM data-products from a NOAAPORT satellite feed and inserts them into an LDM product-queue. The GRIBINSERT package creates LDM data-products from GRIB messages in files and inserts them into an LDM product-queue. Most sites will not need either of these subpackages, so they are not installed by default. The installation instructions for this version indicate how to include these packages in the installation of the LDM system
For a detailed list of changes from previous versions, see this package's CHANGE_LOG.
