Version 4.4.0 of the netCDF Operators (NCO) has been
released. NCO is an Open Source package that consists of a
dozen standalone, command-line programs that take netCDF
files as input, then operate (e.g., derive new data,
average, print, hyperslab, manipulate metadata) and output
the results to screen or files in text, binary, or netCDF
formats.

Computational and Information Systems Laboratory (CISL)
is searching for an software engineer to
develop and maintain the CISL Research Data Archive
(RDA) in support of weather and climate research.
The RDA contains a large and
diverse collection of meteorological and oceanographic
observations, operational and reanalysis model outputs, and
remote sensing datasets to support atmospheric and
geosciences research, along with ancillary datasets, such as
topography/bathymetry, vegetation, and land use.
Experience with Unidata's THREDDS Data Server (TDS), along with familiarity with OPeNDAP
and OGC protocols is desirable, but not required.
